Just in: ONE OF A KIND. Consignment.Custom made, highly ornate. 1920's - 1930's or earlier. Unmarked, the diamond band (stones go all the way around, eternity style) tests PLATINUM. This is an absolutely killer gorgeous mixed cut (it looks like a combination of an old emerald cut and a sapphire cut) on the shimmering (and gorgeous clarity) canary center stone. Everybody who has seen it in the showcase today has done a double take and said "whoa... major yellow diamond". Certainly looked like it to us, too. Well, we have determined that the center stone is not a diamond, we just don't know what natural gemstone it is yet. It could be a semi-precious Citrine, but we suspect that it's a yellow sapphire.. (so you've got a very short window in which to grab it at this price...before the appraiser gets here and tells us how much to increase the price.) This is a big size ring but it's so beautiful we'd wear it on any finger that it fits. Size 9.5 SOLD |
