Solid 18k white gold brooch / pin / pendant containing 240 full cut round diamonds weighing approximately 4.66 carats . Adding a simple hidden bail would allow this graceful diamond sculpture to be worn as a pen or a pendant. 2.5" x 1 1/4".
Diamonds have exceptionally fine VS clarity, with phenomenally white F color.
IN PRISTINE, LIKE NEW CONDITION.

This exquisite brooch appraised a decade ago, in December of 1999 for $5,700. when gold was under $300, less than a third of what it is today.

ITEM: ESTATE - RETRO 1940's Very Fine Large 18k Sapphire & Diamond Enamel Brooch / Pin. Very Fine 18k, Enamel, Sapphire & Diamond Brooch / Pin Exquisite, large Retro floral brooch / pin, measuring 40 x 48mm. The brooch is 18k yellow gold with green enamel leaves. The prong-set diamond flowers with sapphire centers are set in 18k white gold. There are a total of 22 VS G-H diamonds weighing approx. .44carats, and two fine natural sapphires, each .10ct for a total of .20ct. Total precious gemstone weight is .64 carats. The brooch weighs 11.30 DWT = 0.565 Ounces = 17.5715 Grams and it is in excellent condition. Item#c-rw030811-2
