ESTATE: ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 16k COGNAC ENGAGEMENT RING

The finely made antique gold mounting acid tests ever so slightly less than 18k yellow gold which was typical for the period, so we'll call it 16k. The natural DIAMONDS which frame the center stone are VS-SI clarity with top white G-H color. (See Diamond Color Chart displayed on link at right) The center stone has been tested on the GEM Refractometer and identified as a very fine natural VVS Cognac Tourmaline, which, particularly in this absolutely mesmerizing mounting, has an appearance which is virtually indistinguishable from a Cognac diamond. ESTATE:14k white gold Madeira Citrine & Diamond RING

Graceful. Elegant. Madeira Citrines & Diamonds in 14k white gold. From an Estate on the Treasure Coast of Florida. A custom made ring featuring a graceful leaf motif. Faceted marquise cut Madeira Citrines measure 7x3.5mm and are estimated to weigh between .26 to .29 carats each. There are also a total of eight single cut diamonds, having SI clarity with top white G-H color and weighing an estimated .25 carats. Total gem weight is estimated at approximately 1.08 carats. The ring measures 5/8" north to south and weighs 4.9 grams. It's a size 6 3/4 and can easily be resized. The gold is unmarked but it has been acid tested and is guaranteed to be 14k. Displayed as worn and shown adjacent to a very lovely (and very difficult to find solid yellow gold) faceted Citrine hinged bangle with white gold and diamond trim, which is available on another of our listings.. The ring and bangle combination complement one another quite beautifully. Item# c-j-152a
