JACKING CASTER MECHANISM
WITH RETRACTABLE WHEELS.
Designed to be bolted to furnishings or equipment. Provides
the unique ability for high quality furnishings or other products
to enjoy on-demand mobility, without the need to compromise
integrity of surrounding decor with unsightly wheels. The user-friendly,
patented Lift & Roll™ mechanism permits furnishings or
equipment to rest securely on the floor until movement is again required. |
| Sample Installation: The fully equipped
CEO model of The OFFICE™ (shown at right), measuring 72" wide,
28" deep, 77" in height, and weighing more than 800 pounds,
can be elevated and rolled to a new location by a single,
average size male or female. It takes little more than a flick
of the wrist to elevate the unit for mobility on the disappearing
wheels. Only eight pounds of effort is needed to raise the
Lift & Roll. |

Each Lift & Roll unit measures 4 1/2" x 5 3/4"x 24" long,
and has a lift load capacity of 250 kg (550 LB..). When relocation
is complete, the procedure is repeated, with handle direction reversed.
Lift & Roll wheels retract and will be completely concealed
from view. This mechanism requires a single, user-friendly tool
for operation. A standard breaker bar will work equally well. Lift
& Roll design permits alternate handle direction to accommodate
product design. (shown below). Simply reverse the direction
of mechanism at time of installation.

Lift & Roll™ Operating Instructions:
To RAISE the unit, insert the keyjack
and press downward towards the CENTER of the unit until you
feel it LOCK IT IN PLACE.
To LOWER: Insert keyjack, return arm
to "up" position. Exercise caution
once casters are unlocked to lower the unit, the keyjack bar
will move rapidly upward in the direction that it is
being pulled. |
