A Successful Political Coup of The United States Of America

(1) Control The Media:
Largest American Media Conglomerates:
Engage the support of the easily led, the intellectually challenged, the naive and uneducated, the far right religious fringe, and the hate groups. Pander to their fears and their prejudices. Give them a media slogan which says "Fair and Balanced", conditioning them to accept without question the propaganda being spewed into their homes. Distort facts to those who are unclear on the subject to get them to protest against their own best interests.

(2) Control Congress:
The average House seat costs more than $1 million, and Senate seats can go for tens of millions.

(3) Control the Supreme Court:
The Code of Conduct for U.S. Judges sets out rules that judges are obliged to follow to ensure impartiality.
But Supreme Court justices have decided that they are not obliged to follow the rules that apply to all other federal judges.
The Supreme Court declared that Corporations are people and may contribute unlimited money to political campaigns.

(4) Control The Presidency:
"All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate." - Grover Norquist.

The "Citizens United" Supreme Court Ruling permits unlimited political donations by corporations, which may also include foreign money. Domestic and foreign casino owner Billionaire Sheldon Adelson stated that he's willing to go as high as $100 million to defeat President Barack Obama.

(5) Control who can vote: Marginalize opposition voters by making it difficult for them to vote.

(6) Control the largest voting block, American women, by first depriving them of their rights, beginning with the right to control their own bodies, with the ultimate goal of repealing their right to vote.
