4 CARAT CUSTOM MADE PLATINUM DIAMOND ETERNITY BAND

From the Treasure Coast of Florida, this is one of several items of fine jewelry which have recently been placed with us on consignment. They are part of a large, living estate, from Palm Beach, Florida. A number of the pieces of jewelry have already been sold locally, (prior to our photographer even having had the time to formally photograph the items to accompany our online listings).

In addition to the items of jewelry, we also have in our possession copies of a multi-page appraisal covering each of those items, and have included relevant excerpts from the appraisals as part of the description which appears below. The appraisals were prepared by a G. I.A. accredited Appraiser/Gemologist, whose offices are located in Palm Beach, Florida. The dates appearing on the appraisals are January 17 and January 18, 2005.

Description on the appraisal reads; "Platinum diamond anniversary ring. The ring contains 16 pear shape diamonds being H-I in color and SI-1 in clarity having a total weight of 4.00 ct. All the diamond are set in pronged basket setting head to toe all the way around". This ring was appraised for $14,500. in 2005. Weight is 4.60 DWT.

A unique, custom made band, using big, quarter carat (.25ct ea) pear shaped diamonds, fifteen in all, set in alternating directions around the ring, this is an exceptionally beautiful band. At size 5.5, this ring was custom designed for a petite hand and it cannot be resized.

There is also an intriguing alternate use. With an even number of diamonds, this gorgeous diamond eternity band also lends itself perfectly to a redesign. The ring can be split into two equal sized parts in order to create two half-round segments. Secure, omega style backs would then be added to each half. Thus, the redesign would convert the band to a unique, custom made pair of absolutely exquisite, platinum half-round diamond earrings, containing 2 carats of diamonds per earring, for a combined total of 4 carats. Yes, if desired, our bench jeweler is well qualified to do that for you, or you could have your local jeweler do the redesign.
