From an Estate on the Treasure Coast of Florida, this exquisite, custom made, antique 14k white gold mounting features a dozen big side diamonds that beautifully compliment the bezel set main stone, a thoroughly magnificent Old European cut diamond which has been passed down through multiple generations of the elderly consignors family.

You simply can't take your eyes off this ring, it's that gorgeous.

Old European cut diamonds were hand cut, they have 58 facets, an open culet and higher crown. These diamonds have a beauty and magic all their own which give them a desirable, distinct beauty much like the bygone era in which they were fashioned. This cutting style began to disappear around the turn of the century, the late 1800's or early 1900's.

This phenomenal, all natural Antique Transitional / Old European cut center diamond, verified weight of 2.86 carats, has dimensions of 9.46 x 9.40 x 5.35mm. There is a small open culet.

This is an exquisitely beautiful diamond.

Graded as set using GIA standards, Clarity is estimated at VS2 - SI1 or better.

Color is in the top white range, estimated at H-I. Very white, very bright.

The 2.86 carat antique center diamond is flanked by a dozen round brilliant cut diamonds, set six to a side, and estimated to weigh approximately .09 carats each. The side diamonds have SI clarity and F-G color. Total carat weight of side diamonds, 1.18 carats.
